Inspired by members of our farm crew from Colombia, our Spring Tropical Fruit Share will showcase some of the delicious fruits they grew up eating this time of year.
You’ll receive a weekly selection of seasonal tropical fruits at their peak ripeness, including mango, pineapple, kiwi, coconut, passion fruit, plantains, baby bananas, and more. In our weekly CSA newsletter, we'll share tips and recipes from the crew (our resident experts!) on how they like to prepare and enjoy these fruits.
Your Spring Tropical Fruit Share will be packed in a third-bushel box (same size box as our Small Vegetable Share), weighing approximately 8 lbs.
To source your fruit we're working closely with Specialty Foods Boston, the premier produce distributor for Boston's top chefs. We'll be sourcing your tropical fruit from Central and South American farms as well as domestically.
