Roll up your sleeves, grab some gloves, and join us for our SWEETEST bulk harvest of the year. We'll send you home with a big bag of carrots, and a bushel full of gratitude.
With our two acres of fall carrots approaching their peak ripeness, we're getting ready to pull them in from the fields to enjoy all winter. We've learned that kids and grownups of all ages make GREAT carrot harvesters — and that coming together for this magical annual harvest day provides a really meaningful boost to the farm crew as we work through the next six weeks of "BULK SEASON", harvesting and tucking away six months worth of storage crops before the snow flies!
We'll have plenty of cold cider, hot coffee, water, apples, (and carrots!) for snacking, so just dress in layers, head to the farm, and we'll train you in to the simple, lovely work of harvesting carrots.
And NEW this year, the team at Sofra Bakery is offering a Carrot Pull Lunch Box, which you can pre-order from their website here, and enjoy a delicious, carrot-themed picnic lunch out in the fields during the Pull!
Also PLEASE NOTE: at our checkout, you will be required to select "Home Delivery" or "Store Pickup" at one of our CSA locations, as if you were purchasing a CSA Farm Share. Please just choose either option in order to proceed through checkout; your choice will not affect your ticket reservation in any way (and if you choose Store Pickup, simply choose ANY pickup location). Receipt of your tickets will be the order confirmation email you will receive upon completion of the checkout process.
